From her birth to three year old, dld was given cold showers to stop crying or calm her down. She has a fierce fear of water that prevents her to go in any lake, pool or sea. She is pushed in the water and bleeds abundantly at the head at the age of 10. It's only years later, after having her first child, that she tames her fear. Since then she swims weekly.
Water is at the same time the source of life and a deathly element. Migrants die crossing the sea, people and other species die from polluted waters, polluted sources, lakes and sea and yet, we die from its disappearance, from the lack of water. We need it tremendously, as much as we fear it.
